Higgovale is a sought after, upper class suburb with some of the most spectacular views over the city and Table Bay. It is a green, leafy and sedate suburb on the steep slopes of Table Mountain and perched above the city, yet you are only minutes away from Kloof Street with it’s many bistros and shops. The homes on Bridle Rd, Beulah Terrace, Rugby Road and Trek Road border on the Table Mountain National Park giving easy access to nature and Table Mountain.
Getting to the Atlantic beaches is a quick 10 minute drive, and the V&A Waterfront is not only visible from here and also easily accessible. For the climbers, there’s the Higgovale Quarry, which relatively unknown outside of the climbing fraternity, was once a shooting range. It lies just beyond Molteno Reservoir, providing some great slab/face climbs, all of which are bolted.
